ADULT BIBLE STUDIES - Weekly

Three New 10-week Sunday Morning Adult Bible Courses Beginning February 12 

Standing Strong in a Godless Culture.    Leader: Becky Hines.  Do you feel the pressures of a godless culture around you?  Is it difficult for you to sort out the moral and ethical implications?  Do you find your busy schedule drawing you away from the joy of living with Jesus?  In the midst of turmoil, God will give you the courage and peace of mind to stand strong in an ungodly society.  Through focusing on biblical examples of the Lord’s grace, power, and wisdom, you will find out how to base your daily life on the One who will never fail you.

 

Above All Else: What the Bible Teaches.  Leaders: John Hearing and Gaylord Schroeder.  This course is especially designed for those considering membership in our congregation, those who haven’t yet been through Lutheran confirmation instruction, or for those who simply want a refresher on basic Christian teachings.  You will learn what the Church of Jesus Christ believes and what it means to live “in Christ.”  The course draws on the Bible and Luther’s Small Catechism.

 

Enlightened with His Gifts.  Leader: David Simons.  God gives each believer gifts of the Holy Spirit to be used for the cause of His Kingdom.  Discovering and using your spiritual gifts will free you up to celebrate and serve God in the ways he intended specifically for you.   Especially if you previously haven’t learned what your gifts are, this is an important step for you to take in your walk with the Lord.
